LE SSERAFIM Unveil New Japanese Single “DIFFERENT”
K-pop powerhouse LE SSERAFIM have officially returned with their brand-new Japanese single “DIFFERENT”, marking the start of an exciting summer era. Released via Source Music, the track is the lead single from the group’s upcoming fourth Japanese single album, also titled “DIFFERENT”.

The “DIFFERENT” single album, set for full release soon, will include three tracks: the title song “DIFFERENT”, a Japanese version of “Hot” from their fifth Korean EP “Hot” (released March 14), and a brand-new track titled “Kawaii”.
Fans were treated to a double delight as an English version of the song dropped simultaneously, highlighting the group’s continued global ambition.

“DIFFERENT” showcases LE SSERAFIM’s signature sound: confident, polished, and emotionally layered. Produced by 13, TBHits, and Mr. Franks, the track’s writing credits also include SUNNY (HoriPro), SCORE (13), Megatone (13), Kiddo A.I., and Canchild. The song blends sleek production with introspective lyrics, drawing a line between vulnerability and empowerment, an ongoing theme in the group’s discography.
The single release is part of a broader comeback rollout. The official promotions began on May 8th with a series of striking individual concept photos, followed by teaser images, concept films, and a track sampler released on May 26th. The visual direction teases a more mature, experimental side of LE SSERAFIM, hinting at bold sonic and aesthetic territory for this comeback.
With this release, LE SSERAFIM continue to solidify their presence in the Japanese market while expanding their global reach. “DIFFERENT” is not just a single, it’s the start of a new chapter in the group’s ever-evolving artistic journey.
