Charli XCX Drops Thrilling New Single “Talk Talk” Featuring Troye Sivan

charli xcx is back with her latest track, “Talk Talk”, featuring pop sensation Troye Sivan!

The single is part of a fresh release from Charli’s widely praised album, “BRAT”, with a twist—this new version is aptly titled “Brat and it’s completely different but also still brat”. Fans can expect the revamped album to drop on October 11th via Atlantic Records.

This isn’t the first time charli xcx and Troye Sivan have joined forces. The duo previously collaborated on the hit single “1999”, the lead track from charli’s third studio album “Charli”. The infectious, nostalgic anthem was a fan favorite and became one of the standout tracks of her 2019 album. Now, with “Talk Talk”, they’re reigniting their creative chemistry, bringing a fresh new energy to their partnership.

The powerhouse track was co-written by an all-star lineup including charli herself, A.G. Cook, Hudson Mohawke, Troye Sivan, Leland, Styalz Fuego, NOVODOR, and Zhone, while production was handled by A.G. Cook, Hudson Mohawke, Styalz Fuego, NOVODOR, and Zhone. To top it off, the song features additional vocals from none other than Dua Lipa, adding another layer of star power to this already explosive collaboration.

charli’s sixth studio album “BRAT” has taken the music world by storm since its release in June, becoming one of the most critically acclaimed albums of the year. Known for her bold and avant-garde approach to pop, charli’s “BRAT” era has been nothing short of a cultural phenomenon. From pop-up DJ sets under the PARTYGIRL banner that caused roadblocks worldwide to viral internet moments and surprise collaborations with artists like Billie Eilish, Lorde, and Addison Rae, charli has proven she knows how to keep her fans on their toes. Her collaborations even extended to fashion and art icons like Chloë Sevigny and Julia Fox, marking BRAT as a defining pop-culture moment in 2024.

“BRAT” also earned charli a Mercury Prize 2024 nomination, while her single “Guess” featuring Billie Eilish debuted at number one on the UK Official Singles Chart in August, making charli the first British artist to top the charts this year. The original album peaked at number two on the Official Irish Albums Chart, further solidifying its commercial success.

In November and December, charli is set to embark on her largest-ever UK arena tour, bringing her electrifying live shows to fans across the country. She will also reunite with Troye Sivan for their much-anticipated US co-headline tour, charli XCX & Troye Sivan Present: Sweat, which kicks off this weekend.

charli launched the “BRAT” campaign earlier this year with a historic Boiler Room performance in Brooklyn, New York, which saw over 40,000 RSVPs—a record for the iconic event series. With appearances from Addison Rae and Julia Fox, the event quickly went viral and set the tone for a campaign that has blurred the lines between music, art, and internet culture.

Beyond her chart-topping hits and viral moments, charli xcx has solidified herself as one of pop’s most forward-thinking innovators. She has spent the last decade reshaping the music landscape by merging the underground with the mainstream, and her impact has been recognized with a slew of awards. In the past year alone, charli was honored with the Visionary Award at the Ivor Novellos, the Powerhouse Award at Billboard’s Women in Music ceremony, and the ASCAP Global Impact Award, proving that her influence on pop music continues to grow.

With the release of “Talk Talk” and the upcoming “BRAT” re-release, charli xcx is once again redefining the boundaries of pop music, and fans can expect even more surprises as her trailblazing journey continues.
