Ed Sheeran returns with new single “Bad Habits”.
Ed Sheeran is returning back to the music scene 4 years after the release of his latest album “÷”, which spawned the smash single “Shape of You” as well as “Perfect” (also in a version featuring Beyoncé) among others.
The talented artist released a couple of standalone singles and collaborations after that such as “I Don’t Care” with Justin Bieber and “Beautiful People” featuring Khalid.

This was also the inspiration for his newest single “Bad Habits”, which saw Ed taking a life turn and dropping bad habits such as drinking and partying.
“As soon as Cherry told me she was pregnant, life shifted, in terms of work and health and what I was putting into my body, be it food or alcohol,” he stated in an interview. “I started exercising more and my routine became a bit more healthy.”
The track marks the lead single from his 5th and yet untitled studio album and was written by Ed in collaboration with Fred again.. (Clean Bandit, Eminem, George Ezra, Rita Ora, Shawn Mendes) and Johnny McDaid (Alicia Keys, Robbie Williams, P!nk, Zara Larsson, Birdy), also responsible for its production.
The single was released along with an official music video directed by Dave Meyers (Pink, Avril Lavigne, Katy Perry, Rihanna, Ariana Grande, Kelly Clarkson, Camila Cabello, Billie Eilish) known for his unique taste and humor in bringing music video scenarios to life.
