Jennie of BLACKPINK Drops New Single “ExtraL” Featuring Doechii Ahead of Debut Album “Ruby”
Jennie, the renowned member of BLACKPINK, has unveiled her latest single “ExtraL”, featuring the dynamic rapper Doechii.
This track serves as the third pre-release from her highly anticipated debut studio album “Ruby”, slated for release on March 7, 2025.
“ExtraL” is a vibrant fusion of pop melodies and hip-hop rhythms, showcasing the synergy between Jennie’s vocal prowess and Doechii’s compelling rap delivery. The song celebrates assertive and self-reliant women, with lyrics emphasizing independence and confidence.
The track was co-written by Jennie, Doechii, 8AE, Sorana, and Dem Jointz, with Dem Jointz—known for his work with BTS, aespa, Eminem, Rihanna, and Janet Jackson, also serving as the producer. The accompanying music video, directed by Cole Bennett aka Lyrical Lemonade (Post Malone, Eminem, Juice Wrld, Machine Gun Kelly), features striking visuals that blend futuristic elements with powerful performances from both artists.
In addition to “ExtraL”, Jennie’s “Ruby” album boasts an impressive lineup of collaborations.
