Bebe Rexha and Snoop Dogg collaborate on new single “Satellite”
Bebe Rexha has officially started the countdown to the release of her third studio album titled “Bebe” which drops on April 28th through Warner Records.
The album was preceded by the lead single “Heart Wants What It Wants”, an upbeat track that combines disco, funk, and pop music.
Then last month, she dropped the club-oriented power anthem “Call On Me” as the second official single.
Now, the talented artist has revealed yet another exciting track!
Its title “Satellite” and it marks Bebe’s first collaboration with hip hop legend Snoop Dogg.
The “I’m Good” singer admitted sliding into Snoop’s DMs hoping he would hop on the track, which ended up working, as the rapper sent Bebe his verse first-hour the next morning:
“Working with Snoop is a dream. He called me at 7:00 the next morning with a big blunt in his hand being like, ‘Yo, check your email. You have an email.’”
The track was written by both artists in collaboration with Kunfetti, Joe Janiak, Maya Kurchner, and Sam DeRosa while Joe Janiak (Tove Lo, Ellie Goulding, Måneskin, MARINA) also handled its production.
The single was released along with an official music video created by Venturia Animation Studios (who are also behind Tove Lo’s “Sadder, Badder, Cooler” music video) and inspired by the classic animated series “The Jetsons”.
