London Grammar Push Boundaries with Direct and Poetic new Single “Fakest Bitch”
London Grammar have unveiled their latest track, “Fakest Bitch”, marking a bold departure from their signature style. Released through Ministry of Sound, the song showcases a more playful and direct approach from frontwoman Hannah Reid, who has transformed a theme of negativity into something surprisingly uplifting.
In discussing the new track, frontwoman Hannah Reid shares: “Fakest Bitch is pretty self-explanatory to be honest. Everybody has had someone, at some point in their life, that’s made them feel that way but what I really like about it is that it’s kind of a bit shocking. For me anyway, just how direct the negativity is but it is again about reflecting on those parts of yourself that are a bit ugly too and looking at yourself in the mirror and learning and growing from that.”
Despite its sharp title, Reid emphasizes that the song is about more than just external criticism. “I wanted to again talk about something quite negative but the lyrics in the verse are quite poetic and beautiful,” she adds, highlighting the contrast between the rawness of the theme and the elegance of the lyrics.
The trio, composed of Reid (vocals), Dominic ‘Dot’ Major (keyboard), and Dan Rothman (guitar), collaborated on the songwriting, with production credits shared between the band and renowned producer Tim Bran, known for his work with artists like Halsey, AURORA, and Birdy.
“Fakest Bitch” is the latest single from London Grammar’s forthcoming album, “The Greatest Love“, which is set to be released on September 13th. The album will also feature previous singles “House”, “Kind Of Man”, and “Into Gold”, all of which have been well-received by fans and critics alike.

The tour kicks off in Paris on October 31st, with sold-out shows in Belgium and France, and continues through major European cities before concluding with a series of dates in the UK, including a highly anticipated show at The O2 in London.
