TWICE Drop New English Single “I Got You” Ahead of Upcoming Mini-Album

South Korean sensation TWICE has once again set the K-Pop world ablaze with the release of their latest English single, “I Got You”. The track serves as a precursor to their forthcoming 13th mini-album, titled “With YOU-th”, slated for release on February 23rd.

This marks TWICE’s third venture into fully English songs, following the successes of 2021’s “The Feels” and 2023’s “Moonlight Sunrise”. With “I Got You”, the nine-member group continues to broaden their global reach and solidify their position on the international music scene.

Fans have been eagerly anticipating new music from TWICE, and “I Got You” doesn’t disappoint. The song captures the essence of joy amidst uncertainty, echoing the theme of togetherness that has become synonymous with TWICE’s music. Its ethereal melodies, layered over a subtle drum pattern, create an emotional journey for listeners, underscored by the group’s harmonious vocals.

What sets the song apart is not just its catchy beats and infectious hooks, but also the meaningful collaboration behind the scenes. The track was penned and composed by Jonah Marais and Daniel Seavey of Why Don’t We, along with Jake Torrey, known for his work with top-tier international artists (BTS, Justin Bieber, Charlie Puth). Adding to the star-studded lineup is dwilly, the talented arranger who has previously collaborated with industry heavyweights like Wiz Khalifa and Megan Thee Stallion.

In typical TWICE fashion, the members pour their hearts into the lyrics, expressing gratitude, support, and unwavering camaraderie. Lines like “No matter what you got me, I got you” resonate deeply, reflecting the bond shared not only as colleagues but as friends and family.

Accompanying the release is a visually stunning music video, showcasing various member pairings and group shots that highlight the group’s close-knit dynamics. Through symbolic imagery of sailing through hardships and facing the future together, TWICE exudes confidence and resilience, embodying their mantra of overcoming obstacles hand in hand.

“I Got You” comes as a beacon of hope, marking TWICE’s return to the spotlight after a year-long hiatus since their last release, “SET ME FREE”, from the mini-album “READY TO BE”. With their upcoming mini-album on the horizon, TWICE is poised to once again dominate global charts and captivate audiences worldwide.

Having already made waves with their previous releases, including Jihyo‘s solo debut and the debut of their first unit MISAMO, TWICE continues to push boundaries and redefine the K-Pop landscape. As they gear up for another groundbreaking era with “With YOU-th”, fans can expect nothing short of brilliance from this powerhouse group.
