Ariana Grande joins forces with Doja Cat & Megan Thee Stallion on “34+35” remix.
Ariana Grande released her sixth studio album “Positions” a few months ago – one of the most anticipated albums of 2020.
A week before the album’s release, the lead single of the same title, along with its official music video made its premiere and topped several charts around the world.
Less than a month later the second official single “34+35” was released together with a music video directed by Director X (Demi Lovato, Khalid, Bebe Rexha, Little Mix, ZAYN, Rihanna, Nelly Furtado).
Now, the talented singer is keeping on with the promotion of her latest single, as well as the album, by releasing a remix to the song that features Doja Cat and Megan Thee Stallion.
The track was written by all three artists together with Peter Lee Johnson, Tommy Brown, Courageous Xavier Herrera, Scott Nicholson, Steven Franks, Tayla Parx, and Victoria Monét. Its production was handled by Xavi, Mr. Franks, Peter Lee Johnson & TBHits.
While talking about how the song came to be, Ariana stated: “I just think it’s ridiculous and so funny and stupid. It’s like absolutely absurd. It was just a fun thing. We heard the strings that sounded so like Disney and orchestral and full and pure, and I was like “What is the dirtiest possible most opposing lyrics we could write to this?”
The song marks the second time that Ariana works with Doja Cat as they previously collaborated on “Motive”, a track on her latest project. This is the first time she collaborates with Megan Thee Stallion.
