New, Single Releases

JoJo drops new single “The Change”.

JoJo has been the gift that keeps on giving this year, since not only has she dropped her fourth studio album “good to know” but also an acoustic AND a deluxe edition of the record.

She also released several music videos for the albums and was furthermore featured on Y2K’s latest single “Damage Is Done” and Lido’s “University” from his recent album “Peder”.

Being known for also being an activist and raising her voice when needed, the talented singer could not help herself after all the tragic events happening in her own country and took matters into her own hands by releasing a brand new single.

“The Change” is a powerful ballad that was created as an anthem that will encourage people, not only in the US to vote and change the current situation but also in the whole world to create a better future for themselves and the generations to come.

The track was written by JoJo alongside legendary songwriter, musician, and record producer Diane Warren (Whitney Houston, Cher, Mariah Carey, Céline Dion, Lady Gaga, Aaliyah, Paloma Faith) as well as Nick Green & Dave Rosser, while its production was handled by Nicky Davey.

Along with the announcement of the song, she posted:

“It’s natural to be overwhelmed in a time like this when people are so divided. But PLEASE don’t let it immobilize you. Not now. Change starts with us and I truly believe together we can make a better America. Your voice and your passion are critical now more than ever! We can’t afford another 4 years of this dangerous “leadership”. I urge you to register to vote (iwillvote.com) and come up with a voting plan for Nov. 3rd.”

Definitely one of her best songs yet, that will hopefully motivate more people in the US to vote and give the rest of the world food for thought and action.
